The 22th edition of the MIT tournament is nearing!! 4 days of drinking, partying and lots and lots of basketball. We want to guarantee another great tournament with good referees, so we are in search of enthusiastic people who have at least acquired their E-license! If you have had a comparable training in refereeing, please state the name of the degree and your refereeing experience in the “remarks” box. The days are divided into 3 segments; morning, afternoon and evening, and for every segment that you are assigned to referee in, you will receive a €10 compensation. You will also receive a drink, meal(s) and if needed, lodging. You also get special referee-shirts. Once the games are over, we hope to see you at the parties!

Some small facts:

• About 40 male and female teams (beside our own teams) will participate. They play in high or low leagues.
• The teams vary from rookie to semi-professional.
• 25 minute games are played every half hour.
• We try to give every ref a break after 2 games.
• 2 ref’s per game.
• Clear rules are present.

Provisional day-segments:
Thursday     - 04.00 PM - 10.30 PM (max €10)
Friday    - 09.00 AM - 01.00 PM and 01.00 - 05.00 PM (max €20)
Saturday    - 09.00 AM - 01.00 PM, 01.00 - 06.00 PM and 06.00 - 10.30 PM (max €30)
Sunday    - 09.30 AM - 12.30 PM and 01.00 - 03.00 PM (max €20)
 
If you would like to blow the whistle the entire tournament, you receive €100 compensation.
